The 3rd General Lyceum of Trikala “Odysseas Elytis” celebrated Erasmus Days 2026!
Ξεχωριστή θέση στην εκδήλωση είχε το πρόγραμμα «A(I) European School for All», μια συνεργασία eTwinning με το ιταλικό σχολείο IIS «E.
Παρουσιάστηκε επίσης το ευρωπαϊκό έργο «Beyond the Divide: Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence for Equitable English Language Teaching» (BRIDGE-ELT), στο οποίο το σχολείο μας συνεργάζεται με πανεπιστήμια και εκπαιδευτικούς οργανισμούς από 6 διαφορετικές ευρωπαϊκές χώρες.
Learning together. Creating together. Growing together!

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
Two European programs, new knowledge, creative collaborations, and a major honor for our school!
With enthusiasm and a “European” spirit, we celebrated Erasmus Days on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the 3rd General Lyceum of Trikala, “Odysseas Elytis.” The event was a wonderful opportunity to share experiences, projects, and knowledge from the European programs in which our school participates, highlighting the importance of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion in education.
The “A(I) European School for All” project held a special place at the event; this eTwinning partnership with the Italian school IIS “E. Usuelli-Ruzza” in Padua was implemented during the 2025–2026 school year. Students and teachers from Greece and Italy collaborated with the shared goal of creating a school that is more inclusive, creative, and open to everyone. Through three group mobility events—in Padua, Trikala, and Oulu, Finland—the students exchanged ideas and experiences, created digital content, blogs, podcasts, stories, and interactive games—while exploring how Artificial Intelligence can be used responsibly and with respect for diversity.
This effort was crowned with a significant success: our project was awarded the National eTwinning Quality Label, as was our partner school in Italy! This dual recognition is a source of joy and pride for all participants and strengthens our hopes of also receiving the European Quality Label. Above all, it demonstrates that meaningful collaboration between students and teachers can lead to remarkable results.
The European project “Beyond the Divide: Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence for Equitable English Language Teaching” (BRIDGE-ELT) was also presented; in this project, our school is collaborating with universities and educational organizations from six different European countries. The program focuses on teacher professional development and the use of artificial intelligence to promote more equitable, effective, and inclusive English language teaching.
The event also featured presentations on our teachers’ experiences from the Erasmus+ training programs held in the summer of 2026 in Iceland, Portugal, and Nice, France. Participants shared knowledge and best practices regarding Artificial Intelligence in education, the creation of innovative courses, inclusion, and the design of European programs. The presentations were accompanied by photographs and highlights that showcased both the educational value and the cultural dimension of these experiences.
The Erasmus Days celebration reminded us that Europe in education is not merely a destination, but a daily opportunity for collaboration, creativity, and growth. We continue with optimism to build an outward-looking, inclusive, and innovative school, where every student has the opportunity to participate, create, and progress.
Learning together. Creating together. Growing together!

ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful to hear students and teachers share their experiences from different mobilities within the Erasmus+ project “A(I) European School for All” during our school’s Erasmus Days celebration. I was also happy to share our own experience from the mobility in Nice, focusing on inclusion and inclusive teaching practices. A great opportunity to exchange ideas, share good practices and learn from each other!!
