The culmination of a project during which the 15-year-old students did everything from the translation of the text from Greek to English to the direction, costume design, scenery, acting, filming and editing. Antigone is our heroine who symbolizes justice, morality, respect, dignity and, above all, love. She represents many of the ideals of ‘Kalos Kagathos’ and at the same time, opens our eyes to the injustice and cruelty that results from manmade laws and imperfect governments. Each student contributed to this project in their way and to the best of their abilities. This film is a ‘first draft’ as we intend to continue with the project in the coming academic year with a view to giving a live performance for the Erasmus+ meeting in Trikala in April 2019…

"Kalos Kagathos" στην Σλοβενία
Parks and Green Spaces of Trikala
This film was created by second-year students at our school. After visiting the Mayor of Trikala and the local director of environmental and cultural programs for schools, Mrs Eleni Giontzi, and asking them about the upkeep of these spaces, how they are used for educational purposes, the benefits they provide for the citizens of Trikala etc., the students compiled the text for narration and organized and carried out the filming of the parks.
